Under the guidance of the Nursing Supervisor, you will act as a liaison for clients at our inpatient residential facility needing nursing support. This position requires the ability to work until 6pm, with the ability to work 30-40 hours weekly.

- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team with other clinical service providers, medical team and outreach staff to understand and address individuals' needs related to medical services and medication management
- Possess the ability to engage with clients with care and support without the need for close oversight
- Maintaining professional boundaries is a top priority for you to ensure a high level of client care
- Monitor resident behavior, progress, and participation in treatment plans; communicate observations and updates to appropriate team members
- Generate medication observation records and provide hands-on verification of medication orders
- Assist clients in verifying refill status, obtaining active medication lists from outpatient providers, and request discharge documentation following hospitalization
- Complete and maintain all medication-related documentation required for client admission; oversee and document medication administration
- Facilitate in-person educational groups focused on medication compliance, usage, side effects, the impact of noncompliance, and medication education as it relates to behavioral health, or substance use
- Encourage and model appropriate behavior through motivational interviewing and evidence-based behavioral management techniques
- Supervise and support residents in daily living activities that includes cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene
You have:
- HSD/GED
- CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) with previous experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Previous relevant experience working with individuals that have a primary mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring disorders
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain auto insurance
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one, and the willingness to submit background check and fingerprinting
- Ability to regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously
